However, a problem with matchmaking has put a damper on its first day. The Master Chief Collection. But not all has gone smoothly on its first day out. The Master Chief Collection combines a remastered Halo 2: Anniversary, along with Halo: Nightfall, and access to the beta for Halo 5: The Halo series is one of the most popular franchises in the video game world. Bundling the entire storyline in one package is a smart way for Microsoft to try to bump up game sales and potentially lure new buyers to the Xbox One.
Jonny Naylor Leave a comment Halo: Being a launch title for the original Xbox, it spawned a franchise that few expected be as successful as it was. Fast-forward three years to Halo 2, not a launch title as it was still on the original Xbox, but even more successful, holding the title for best-selling first-generation Xbox game to this day. Then came the Xbox and with it Halo 3 which managed to smash all sales records.
Then, after Bungie decided to move on to greener pastures which we now know are more of a yellowy-brown colour , Industries took over the franchise with Halo 4. Again it beat previous records for the franchise and became the highest-grossing in the franchise to date.
This is a shame since Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 (now with its own spiffy Anniversary Edition), Halo 3, and Halo 4 are just as good as you remember.
I have been playing the Halo series since the beginning. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with the new installment now that Bungee is out of the picture and now is here. I just finished playing the campaign through on legendary and have some thoughts. My basic summary will go first which is: As a video game, it is pretty good; as a Halo game it kinda blows. The very first thing that struck me was as the game loaded and came onto the screen, I was no longer greeted with the Halo opening suite that I was used to.
The soundtrack for the past Halo games is one thing that propels it into being such an amazing game. It is hauntingly beautiful. The new opening suite was just “alright” at best.
Over the last 17 years, we have been blessed with over a dozen Halo games. Some were absolutely groundbreaking, whilst others struggled to captivate us quite as much. There May also be one dropping very soon. Video you’ll love from around the web 13 — Halo Spartan Strike Spartan Strike is the second twin-stick shooter mobile game from the Halo universe. The game touches on part of the story that Halo 4 apparently failed to deliver on.
The game itself is okay, for a mobile game, but Halo has always been much more than that.
Feb 16, · Ah, now I see well, this will only work for halo games. But you can find code in cod & I’m not certain if you’ll need to resign/rehash all the hidden id’s in the file on it or not.
Each week, someone in the studio has a new story about one or many of their recent Halo 4 matches. Sometimes it’s a crazy multi-kill in SWAT from Frankie, sometimes it’s an unbelievable killing spree from Michael on the test team, and most recently, it’s an unbelievable Plasma Cannon tag-team-duo story from the Community Forge Island playlist from Quinn and yours truly. Across several games of Extraction and Capture the Flag on Elevated, we used the Plasma Cannons so much that even our teammates and enemies started ripping them off their mounts every chance they got.
We actually haven’t stopped talking about our plasma-powered preponderancy, and now the whole studio knows about it. If your immediate response is “pics or it didn’t happen,” then I have prepared the following especially for you. They say that strength in character can defeat strength in numbers. Unless the numbers are armed with Plasma Cannons.

Posted 13 November – Everything is currenty social. Bring back social and competitive playlists. The ranked playlists are what made the multiplayer in the previous games so incredibly addicting. I could care less about these “points” that don’t really mean anything besides a pat on the back. Please bring the rank back and make it visible in game. Don’t just put it in Way Point. Right now all rank shows is how much you play the game, which I think is lame.
What makes you want to get any better if you just keep leveling up? And if I want to see how much you play the game, I can do that, and down to the exact second if I view your profile in MM. For me if this doesn’t change, I’ll loose interest in the game.

Like in the first Halo game, they run faster than you do and have enhanced shields and health, making it extremely tough to gun them down before they reach you and one-hit-kill you.
It gets even better in Score Attack when multiple cloaked Elites bumrush you with swords drawn on the final wave. Elite Generals and Zealots obviously qualify in campaign, but their worst incarnation is without a doubt, Heretics in Firefight. Jill rides well in the car, and prefers to be Read More up on a perch so she can see out the window to take in the sites and sounds of her surroundings. She doesn’t really show much interest in other dogs so she would be do best as an only do. Jill gobbles her treats, so she needs to be told ‘easy’ when you are giving her one.
